Done!

It's official...Beau met with the doctor today and he is done with chemo!  He has to have some scans done next week and then meet with Dr. Benjamin on Thursday, July 2nd.  As soon as his appointment is over, they will be driving home to Georgia!  We are so ready for them to come home!!!  We are also so thankful for the wonderful doctors and nurses at M.D. Anderson that have taken such good care of Beau while he's been out there...especially during the pneumonia/E.coli ordeal.  Thanks to Sam and Dave Mosley for giving Beau, mom and Jessica a place to stay while they were in Houston.  But most importantly, thanks to all of you who have prayed constantly for Beau and our family during this difficult time.  You will never know how much that has meant to us and to Beau!

Please plan to join us on July 8th and July 25th as we welcome Beau home:
July 8th - Northway Church (Across from Chic-fil-a on Zebulon Rd.)
                - Details to come

July 25th - David Prim's in Bolingbroke
          -  Eight different bands playing 4:00 pm to midnight
                  - $20 advance tickets/children 12 & under free
                  - Go to Buckhorn Farms for more info.

Beau,

I am so happy for you and all the family in Macon. I know you are anxious to get home. Please know that there are so many people wishing you the best and waiting to see you soon. Take care of yourself and try not to overdo.... doesn't that sound like mothers everywhere?

Anyway, I will keep you in my prayers

Maggie,
You are a great sister. It has been great to be able to keep up with Beau's progress via your blog. It's obvious the Lord has heard everyone's prayers. We will continue to pray for Beau and hope to see him soon.
