Ryan and Krissie Newman, Jessica and Beau
Beau was feeling well enough this weekend to go to the NASCAR race in Texas! He got to hang out with his buddy Ryan and even got to meet Josh Turner (the country singer)! On Friday, before going to the race, Beau had a CT scan and more blood work done. They met with Dr. Benjamin today and all of Beau's scans are clear!!
Beau should be checking into the hospital on Thursday to begin his third round of chemo...I say should because the past two times, they have had to wait a couple of days for a room to open up. Hopefully that won't be the case this time!
Thank you so much to everyone who continues to lift Beau up in their thoughts and prayers...he's almost to the half-way point!

We are so excited your scans came back clear. GOD IS GOOD! We were also glad to see you and Jess got to go to the race. I know that was exhausting, but fun and a great change of scenery. WE MISS YOU (and of course Jess, too)! At least 2 down and hopefully only 4 more to go. We will certainly be lifting you up as you begin the 3rd round. Take care, stay strong, and know that we are all cheering for you here at home. Jess, take care of yourself. I know how easy it is to become tired and frustrated when you are constantly looking after someone in the hospital. Ya'll keep your spirits up.

I have been keeping up with all the news that Maggie has posted and I am so glad that you are feeling well enough to go to the races. I think of you so often and pray for you speedy return to Macon. Take care and listen to the doctors, very often they can be right. I am glad that you are at MD Anderson. It is a great hospital.

Although I've personally never met either of you, just know you through Robbie, I just wanted to let you know that we're praying for you. Not only that you will recover quickly and without complication, but for physical and mental strength and for understanding.
You never know which direction life will take you, but with God as your driver, you know you are definately on the right road.
